The Winnipeg FrontRunners Pride Run is a fun, non-competitive running or walking event open to all members of the LGBT2SQ+ community and their supporters.
This year's run took place Saturday June 2, 2018 at 9:30am. We have 3km, 5km and 10km route options. The run starts and ends at the Forks festival site in the heart of Winnipeg. We welcome participants of all abilities - if you have any questions about the event or the course please contact us. Watch this space for information about our 2019 event!
The Winnipeg Pride Run is organized by a volunteer committee. Money raised by the event is used to pay event expenses and make donations to Reaching Out Winnipeg. Committee members are not paid for their time.
The theme for our Pride Run is "Pride Moves". We’re open to runners, walkers and participants of all abilities and experience levels. Just bring your most colourful outfit and your positive, Pride-filled energy. We’ll give you a free t-shirt, too!
This year we’re fundraising for Reaching Out Winnipeg (ROW), a local organization that sponsors and supports sexual and gender minority (SGM) refugees and newcomers. In 2017 we raised $6,000 for ROW.
Sponsors help make our event possible! If you're interested in sponsorship opportunities download our sponsorship package. We'd be happy to find a sponsorship package that is right for you.
